I had mixed feelings about my stay at the Danubius Hotel Gellert. The location is superb, right by the Danube and within walking distance to historic sites, and the spa is a major highlight. However, my room was quite dated and uncomfortable, and the noise from a wedding celebration made it hard to relax at night. Overall, the charm of the hotel shines through, but there are definitely areas needing improvement.
